ABSTRACT
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed educational assessment, particularly in physical education (PE), where traditional evaluation methods are often subjective and limited in scope. This review paper examines the application of AI technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision in assessing physical performance and skill development. Existing literature indicates that AI-driven systems enable objective, real-time, and data-driven evaluation by analyzing movement patterns, physiological data, and behavioural responses. These technologies enhance accuracy, reduce evaluator bias, and support personalized learning experiences. Furthermore, AI facilitates continuous monitoring and adaptive feedback, improving student engagement and skill acquisition. Despite these advantages, challenges such as data privacy concerns, high implementation costs, and limited technical expertise hinder widespread adoption. The review highlight
