ABSTRACT
This study looks at how skill development initiatives affect PwDs' employment prospects and means of subsistence in Chintamani Taluk, Chikkaballapur District, Karnataka. The report acknowledges that PwDs still encounter obstacles such restricted access to social inclusion, education, training, and work possibilities despite policy support from the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, and other federal and state welfare programs. Using both primary and secondary data, a descriptive and analytical study approach was chosen. Convenience sampling was used to gather primary data from 109 respondents via a structured questionnaire; secondary data came from government papers, policy documents, and journals. Jamovi software was used to analyse the data utilising tables, charts, and percentage analysis.
