ABSTRACT
Children are the nation's greatest asset and its future citizens; as such, they must be nurtured in accordance with the Indian Constitution's mandate and safeguarded from all legal threats. The Indian constitution has given children several rights in an effort to promote the goal of a wholesome society. Specific provisions have been outlined in chapters on fundamental rights and directive principles.
