ABSTRACT
Teamwork, also known as team cohesion, plays an important role in volleyball performance, especially during high-pressure match situations where players face stress and uncertainty. This study examines how teamwork affects performance consistency among volleyball players in Punjab, India. A total of 30 players from college and district-level teams were observed during competitive matches, and their communication, coordination, and performance were analysed.

The results show that teams with better unity, trust, and coordination perform more
consistently under pressure, while teams with poor teamwork make more errors. It was also observed that players with better understanding and communication handled pressure situations more effectively.

These findings are supported by earlier studies which show a strong link between team
cohesion and performance (Carron & Chelladurai, 1981; Eys et al., 2007). The study
