Sustainable Development and Environmental Protection
Author: Arun Kumar Naik

Abstract
Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without
compromising the ability of future generation to meet their own needs. It contains
within it two key concepts : the concept of needs in particular the essential needs of
the world’s poor to which overriding priority should be given and the idea of
limitations imposed by the state of technology and social organization on the
environment’s ability to meet present and future needs economy growth will remain
the basis for human development, but it must change and became less
environmentally destructive. The challenge of sustainable development is to put this
understanding into practice, changing our unsustainable way into more sustainable
ones. Environment is degrading at a much faster than our imagination. Most of this
mess is caused by human activities. The damage is both at global and regional level.

Author: Sushira Mantry & Neha Thakur

Abstract
Inclusive Education is a planned and systematic efforts and it involves giving need
based support, counseling, evaluation, modifications in curriculum and remedial
teaching. A small beginning has already been made but the goal will be achieved only
when the word is spread across the country and there is pressure on the authorities
concerned, to take notice and action. For the effectiveness and success of Inclusive
education, it requires manageable classrooms so that challenged children receive
teacher attention. Therefore, it is imperative that more qualified and trained teachers
should be recruited to effectively implement inclusive education principles and
practices. Inclusive education is the responsibility of everyone involved in a child’s
education-parents, teachers, community and government. The practical elements
necessary for inclusive education are to get off the group- access for all. With the

Role of ICT in the Context of Women Empowerment
Author: Ranjit Kaur & Shamshir Singh

Abstract
A large group of working women of India is in the rural and unorganized sector. Majority of Indian women are still confined to the boundary of four walls of the house and are in a disadvantageous position. Due to liberalization, privatization and globalization Indian economy is moving at a very fast pace. Recent advances in Information and technology have opened new employment opportunity both for men and women but it is commonly observed that women are less engaged in ICT sector as compared to men in India. ICT is for everyone and women have to be an equal beneficiary to the advantages offered by the technology and the product and processes which emerged from its use. The benefits accrued from the integration of Knowledge and ICT need not be restricted to the upper strata of the society but should freely flow to all segments of the population including the women.

Abstract
The aim of present paper is to discuss the ideas about religion and God, propounded
by Rabindranath Tagore and M K Gandhi. The introduction of the paper views
importance of Indian philosophy in the historical and contemporary contexts. Indian
philosophy has provided substantial insights on multiple walks of life. These
multiple walks of life include art, architecture, literature, religion, morals, and
