Abstract
The aim of education should be to teach how to think rather than what to think- to improve
the cognitive thinking so it enables us to think for ourselves and goals of the life. In
education, the increasing awareness of the learner-centered, teaching-learning process has
generated a lot of attention towards the learners, how long they keep the content learn, how
they conceptualize the content and how they help themselves to organize their knowledge
to enhance meaningful learning. Scientific knowledge is increasing massively, even in the
advanced countries are mobilizing their resources to keep pace with one another. The
problem facing science educations in our country is both quantitatively and qualitatively.
The teachers determine the value of cognitive aspect. Various method of teaching has been
made to engage the students in the learning, but not all are relevant to their lives. There are a

Abstract
In common parlance scheduled castes (SCS). Scheduled Tribes (STs) other Backward castes
(OBCs) girls, children with special needs (CWSN) and minorities are considered
disadvantaged sections or Backward classes. The Socially and educationally Backward
classes (SEBC) have only now been taken up at the national level for attention in education.
There are little or no census data about them similarly there are no census data on the
educational profile of minorities and the disabled children this paper describe the skill
development for disadvantaged groups. India's population is huge at 1:21 billion. It is fast
expanding at a rate of 17% and integrating rapidly into the global economy, India is among
the 'Young Countries in the world, with the proportion of the work force in the age group of
15-59 years, increasing steadily. However, presently only 2% of the total workforce in India
have undergone skills training. India has a great opportunity to meet the future demands

Abstract
The study was conducted to compare difference between the auditory memory of boys and
girls of 3rd and 4th grade .To conduct this study a test consisting of 15 items was first made
and standardized. A sample of 124 student(62boys and 62girls) of 3rd and 4th standard was
selected from English medium schools of Raikot (ludhiana). It was found girls have slightly
better auditory memory than boys and greater variability was found in girls auditory
memory. 4thgrade students possess better auditory memory as compared 3rd grade students.

Introduction
Inclusive education for children with special needs is the necessity of the day. MHRD (2003)
cited that more than 25 million children out of school in India, many of whom marginalized
by dimensions such as poverty, gender, disability and caste .while many educational
programmes have attempted to reach out to these previously excluded children, those with
disabilities are often forgotten, emphasizing their invisible status in a rigidly categorized
society. A focus on disability global development not only raises questions of divers local
interpretation of the same issue , but also the need to accept the diversity of needs within
